Why Test?

Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. The main source of radon is soil under the home. The only way to know your risk is to test. Radon is a silent killercolorless, odorless, and tasteless. There is no level of radon that is considered safe. Even below the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/l is reason for concern because 2/3 of non-smoke related lung cancer cases are found in homes below 4.0 pCi/l. If the radon level in the home is elevated, mitigation is recommended. A properly mitigated home will bring the levels closer to 2.0 pCi/l. Your home can be easily and quickly fixed!
